Final Week of AEPs Session II & Upcoming Registration

As we approach the end of another fantastic round of After School Exploration Programs, we want to remind all families that next week (February 8–12) marks the final week of Session II. We’ve loved seeing our Scorpions explore new passions and skills over the last few weeks!

Looking Ahead: Session III

We are excited to launch our third and final AEP session of the school year. Please mark your calendars for the following key dates:

Tuesday, Feb 10: PowerSchool opens for student and parent registrations.

Tuesday, Feb 17: Registration closes on PowerSchool.

Monday, Feb 23: Confirmation emails sent to parents and students.

Sunday, March 8: Session III officially begins!

Note on Transportation: Please ensure you review your child's schedule in PowerSchool once the registration window opens to secure their spot.

For Bus Riders - New Ramadan Bus Schedule – Updated Pick-up and Drop-off Times

As we transition into our Ramadan schedule, please be advised of the following changes to our school-wide bus transportation. These updates are designed to align with the adjusted school hours and dismissal times.

Morning Arrival (Later Pick-up)
To accommodate the later start to the school day, all morning bus routes will be pushed back by 30 minutes. (this applies to every weekday as there will be no Tuesday late-start schedule during Ramadan).

New School Arrival Window: 8:10 AM – 8:25 AM

Please adjust your student’s home pick-up time by adding 30 minutes to their regular schedule.

Afternoon Dismissal (Earlier Departure)
With school dismissal now at 2:30 PM, our afternoon bus departure has been adjusted accordingly:

Bus Departure from Campus: 2:40 PM (Promptly)

After-School Activities (AEP) & Sports
For those participating in the Afterschool Exploration Program (AEP) or Sports, please note the revised session and late-bus timings:
ES AEP Session: 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM (Bus departs at 3:45 PM)
MS/HS Session 1: 2:45 PM – 3:45 PM (Bus departs at 4:00 PM)
MS/HS Session 2: 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM (No bus service available)

We appreciate your flexibility as we make these adjustments for the holy month. If you have any specific questions regarding your child’s route, please contact the Transportation Office.

The energy on campus is electric because it’s finally time! Our student-athletes will be representing the Scorpions at the  February 5–7 SAISA tournaments.

We have three powerhouse groups:

• Girls Football @ TAISM (Muscat, Oman)​ - Coached by Mr. Alzamora and Mr. McCoy, accompanied by Ms. Black

• Track & Field @ AISC (Chennai, India)​ - Coached by Ms. Shez, Mr. Fouchy, Mr. Stevens & Ms. Bailey

• Boys Basketball @ TAISM (Muscat, Oman)​ - Coached by Mr. Wilusz

Our Scorpions have been training tirelessly, and we couldn't be prouder of the dedication they’ve shown. Whether they are sprinting for gold in Chennai or battling it out on the pitch and court in Oman, we know they’ll represent us with grit and sportsmanship.

Campus Facilities Access

ACS facilities (field, playground, pool, and upper gym) are open during non-student times for ACS badge holders only (no outside guests).

• Facilities close at 8:00 pm.

• Field and upper gym times will rotate weekly.

• No food or drink allowed. Please respect the space and clean up after use.

Pool Access (Family Swim)

• Saturdays: 10:00–11:30 am and 12:00–1:30 pm (Sign-up)

• Mondays 4:45–5:30 pm

• Wednesdays: 4:45–5:45 pm
