Ms. Joelle Basnight
It was wonderful to see the campus filled with energy and laughter today! At this time we plan to continue with in-person schooling and resume after-school activities next week. Should the security situation on the ground indicate otherwise, we will be in touch via email and text.
A Message from The Learning Commons
Dear Parents,
Please do not worry about library late notices if your family is departing the country over the next few days. We want to ensure your focus remains on a smooth transition, so if you receive an automated message from the Learning Center (LC) while you are away, please feel free to ignore it until your return.
Our team is currently updating our records to reflect student departures. While it may take us a few days to finalize that list in our system, rest assured that we are pausing these expectations for our traveling families.
Also, please remember that the Sora Reading App and Epic! is available no matter where you are! You can access our full collection of eBooks and audiobooks by signing in with your school email. It’s a great way to keep reading on a phone or tablet while on the go.
Please contact us if you have any questions. Safe travels!

Athletics and Activities:
Important Update: Campus Operations and Activity Schedule
Community Campus Access: All campus facilities, including the Pool and Tennis Courts, will be closed to families and general access this upcoming weekend, March 6-7.
Important: AEP & Athletics Restart Protocols (Sunday, March 8)
Dear Parents,
We are pleased to resume our After-School Experience Programs (AEPs) and Athletics this Sunday, March 8. To ensure student safety remains our top priority, please review the following protocols:
In-Session: If a siren sounds, all outdoor activities move immediately to the Cafeteria until the "all-clear" (long siren) sounds.
During Dismissal: If a siren sounds while boarding, bus departures will be delayed. We will notify families immediately via emergency communications.
In-Transit: If buses are already on the road, they will proceed directly to their destinations to get students home safely.
Pick-Up: Normal pick-up is at the Pergola or Bus Gate. If outdoor movement is restricted, all parent pick-ups will move to the Cafeteria.
While we are planning for a full restart, final confirmation by the AEP and Activities leaders will be sent after Saturday, March 7, after 2:00 PM.
