Food Service Update: 

After an exhaustive process of reviewing proposals, completing taste tests and inspecting kitchens, ACS is happy to announce the Food Lab will be the catering vendor on campus in the fall. Any cashless payment system can be used with the vendor, including Apple Pay, Zain Cash and our new ID system (see below). As always, your feedback can be shared directly with the company by completing the “feedback form” available in the ACS Application.  

ID Cards Update

This fall, ACS is launching a new ID Card system that combines security, convenience, and attendance tracking in one place.

Students from EYP through Grade 5 will each receive an easy-to-use RFID tag for their backpack, plus an ID card that stays in their classroom.

Middle and High School students will receive ID cards, as will all parents, caregivers, drivers, faculty, and staff.

The card does several things. It can be topped up online through our payment portal to buy food. It can be used to check out books and technology. And it registers entry and exit across campus and on the bus.

Parents will be able to see what their children purchase, and will get a notification through the ACS app when students board and exit the bus.

Summer Pool Access — Sign-Up Required

The pool will be open to badge holders only during select periods of the summer break, on the following schedule:

For the first two weeks of summer break, the pool will be open on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from June 7 to June 18. It will then reopen from Tuesday, July 28 to Sunday August 9. On all open days, hours are 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM. The pool will be closed for summer maintenance between these two periods (closed between June 19 and July 27).

To use the pool, you must add your name to the weekly sign-up sheet here. The sheet resets every Thursday afternoon, so you'll need to sign up again each week. Kindly make sure you're signed up before coming, as access is limited to those on the list.

Facilities Access During Summer Break

Please note the following facility access updates during summer break:

The pergola/amphitheater area will remain open for community members (badge holders only).

The field, tennis courts, and gym will be closed for scheduled summer maintenance.

The big toy (facing the superintendent's office) and the school entrance will be closed from June 5th to June 27th for scheduled summer maintenance.
