Ms. Joelle Basnight
We know adjusting to a new schedule can be a challenge, so thank you to everyone for rolling with the Ramadan hours. We will collect drive time data from our buses through the month to monitor the impact the hours have on our overall drive time and will report that in the WGO nearer to Spring Break.
I am happy to share the finalized competencies highlighted in our updated Student Profile. Our communications team is working on posters and graphics to share soon. Until then, here they are!
Please mark your calendar for the upcoming Student Parent Teacher Conferences on March 19. The hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and section principals will share more information about their schedules in the coming weeks. Please note that this is the day before our Spring Break and while traveling for one extra day may be enticing, we cannot schedule individual conferences with families during other dates to facilitate a longer break. We look forward to seeing you and your child(ren) at the conferences.
We Want to Hear from You!
Grade 4 will start their integrated unit focusing on Refugees, and we need your help.
If you or a family member is a refugee or have any professional experience working with refugees, we would love to arrange to have you as a guest speaker in Grade 4. Guest speakers could provide some relevant perspectives to our students about their experience and perspective.
Please contact Carol Kalis to arrange a time. ckalis@acsamman.edu.jo
