Dr. Jeff Wilusz
Good Afternoon
On behalf of the high school teachers and staff, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your partnership and support. Together, we have achieved a number of milestones and created a positive, enriching experience for our students.
This school year has presented various challenges that tested our resolve and commitment to our students' success. From academic demands to extracurricular activities, we have strived to provide the best educational environment for your children. Your active involvement and support have been crucial to their growth and achievement.
Your engagement in your child's education, whether through attending parent-teacher conferences, participating in school events, or fostering a supportive and nurturing home environment, profoundly impacts their overall experience.
As we prepare for the summer break and look forward to the next school year, let us celebrate our collective successes. I encourage you to continue actively engaging in your child's educational journey, as your support and partnership remain invaluable.
Thank you for being exceptional partners in education. I wish you and your families a relaxing and rejuvenating summer!
Report Cards & 2024-2025 Schedules
You all have access to the end of the year report cards and are able to view your schedule for the upcoming school year. Both of these items are accessible through PowerSchool. Please be aware that the schedules are subject to change over the summer as we continue to work on balancing sections, adding new students and ensuring that students are appropriately placed in their assigned classes.
Please contact me (Mr. Wilusz) only if you have a missing class or if you are placed in the incorrect section of your assigned world language. We will keep track of these items and will work to ensure that these issues are remedied prior to the start of the 2024-25 school year in August.
AP Summer Assignment
If your child is scheduled to take an AP class next year, they may have a summer assignment that needs to be completed prior to their arrival to school in August. Please make sure to have your child check the AP@ACS Amman website for all things AP to ensure that they will be ready for the upcoming school year.
Please note that if the Summer Assignment is not complete upon arriving at school in August, your child will be removed from the class.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the specific teacher of the AP class(es) your child is taking.
Thank you to students and parents for another great school year in the books. Students, families, teachers, and staff are all deserving of a relaxing and enjoyable summer, whether traveling to see family in other parts of the world or staying close to home in Jordan. And we said goodbye this week to the students who will be transitioning to new schools and new adventures next year. We will miss them, and wish them the best of luck in the future.
During the holiday, make sure you find the time to connect with family, friends and community! Of course, it’s always recommended that you also plan some free time to connect with yourselves. We hope everyone in our community finds opportunities to learn more about the world - students can do this through internships, summer programs, travel, service, or volunteer work. Wherever you go and whatever you do, we hope you have a safe, relaxing, and fulfilling summer!
