Last Day of School Assembly
Please join us in celebrating our MS students at the end-of-year assembly on Tuesday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. in the theater. We will quickly acknowledge all students who participated in sports and activities, say goodbye to leavers, and give out MS Student Profile awards. All families are welcome to attend, If your child is receiving a student profile award you should have received an email notification. We hope to see you there!
MS Checkout
We are starting the checkout process to ensure all school supplies and materials have been returned to ACS before departing for summer break. Please understand that if your child still has an LC/Classroom book or a school instrument, make sure they return it on Sunday, June 9, to receive their yearbooks.
Report Cards & MAP Scores
We have closed the parent portal in Powerschool so teachers can start to import report card information. Your child's report card will be ready for you to view in Powerschool on Tuesday, June 11. Instructions for accessing them will be shared soon. On June 11, you will also be able to view your child's second semester MAP score in Powerschool.
Warmly,
Molly
Our Middle School Arabic Language students recently demonstrated their learning with engaging presentations:
Level B students read aloud stories they had written for fifth graders.
Level C students presented stories they had written for second graders.
Level D students showcased handmade inventions, explaining the materials, steps, and skills involved in making them.
Level E students shared their favorite landmarks from around the world and explained why they chose them.
All students used proper Arabic grammar and enhanced their presentations with creative slides and models. We were impressed by their fluency, creativity, and use of technology. These presentations beautifully highlighted their hard work in Arabic Language class.
Prepare for summer reading!
Check that your kids can continue to read all summer long via Sora by reviewing this slideshow!
If they have any troubles, have them come to see the librarian, Mrs. Spilles before the break.
