I am thrilled to offer you some updates regarding some of the strategic work from this academic year! 

First, many thanks to everyone who took the time to offer the visiting architectural firm, CSDA, feedback on the wants and needs of ACS in the future. Your feedback was compiled, analyzed and shared with the board and me. I am currently meeting with the architects weekly as their visualization and site study takes shape. They will present their final findings and possible future options to the board before the end of the school year.

Second, congratulations to Sarah Sisco, our Director of Strategic Initiatives, for ushering in the conclusion of the current strategic plan and the beginning of the next. Last weekend she hosted a full day retreat for the Strategic Initiatives Team to learn about the plan and offer warm and cool feedback to inform next steps. A special thank you to the students and parents who volunteered to serve on this team. You can read the 24/25 strategic plan here.

Finally, an additional thank you to the three families who offered feedback on ACS’s Value Proposition. Your feedback helped to solidify the draft that will go before the board for final approval next week.
