Ms. Michelle Alzamora
Dear Families,
It is with great pleasure that I share with you how smoothly our school year has begun. The first week has been filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of community.
Our returning students have been exemplary in welcoming our new classmates. Their kindness and support have created a warm and inclusive environment for everyone. We are truly grateful for their positive spirit.
We have been particularly impressed by how quickly our new students have adapted to their new surroundings. Their eagerness to learn and their friendly dispositions have made them valuable additions to our school community.
Our teachers have been diligently working to establish positive classroom routines and to get to know each student as a unique individual and learner. These strong foundations are essential for creating a supportive learning environment.
Over the next few weeks, we will be administering literacy and math assessments. These assessments will provide valuable insights into your child’s strengths and areas for growth. The information gathered will help teachers tailor instruction to meet the individual needs of each student. These assessments will also serve as important benchmarks to measure student progress throughout the year.
As we continue to build upon this positive start, we look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and fun. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education.
Yours,
Michelle

Chances are your child's emotions fluctuate quite often! Over time, this may make you feel stuck as a parent around how to support your child and yourself in addressing emotional outbursts. It is taxing work. To possibly help, we've added another tool to our ES Counseling Website - Check out these Tools to Try posters you can print and hang in your home to remind yourself and family members that there are tools you can use. The tools are best used together, as a family - not just for the kids!
We are here and happy to support you if you have any questions or would like to discuss ways to create a calmer home environment.
