Dr. Jeff Wilusz
Good Afternoon
A big thank you to each of you for your active participation today during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Your engagement and open conversations with our teachers are crucial in fostering a positive experience for our students. We are confident that the discussions held will lead to a more enriching and supportive learning environment. Your dedication to your child's education is appreciated, and we value the partnership we have with you.
Furthermore, we hope that the mid-semester progress reports that were made available to you all on Tuesday helped give you a baseline for some of the conversations you had today. As always, if you have any feedback for us, please do not hesitate to reach out and provide your perspective. We are in a constant cycle of reviewing/reflecting, which helps us strive for continual improvement
It was nice seeing many of you during Parent/Teacher Conferences today. We hope that you had positive, productive conversations with your child’s teachers. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our HS Counseling Team is:
Ms. Ruba Kurdi: College Counselor rkurdi@acsamman.edu.jo
Ms. Christine Collings: HS Counselor ccollings@acsamman.edu.jo
Ms. Ellen Hindeleh: Administrative Assistant ehindeleh@acsamman.edu.jo
Last week, Ms. Kurdi was invited to the Counselors’ Conference at the University of St Andrews. While there, she had the opportunity to connect with current students and admissions officers as well as getting a taste of different programs offered there. She gained a lot of insights into the way they assess applications as well as program structures. Ms. Kurdi found St Andrews to be a very unique destination, although the beauty of the golf courses was perhaps wasted on her - Mr. Wilusz has firmly stated that he will be the one accepting any future St Andrews invitations!
The Class of 2025 is on fire! College acceptances are rolling in, proving that hard work and determination pay off. We’re beyond proud as they land at their right-fit universities!
