Academic Counseling Conversations:

This week, our Middle School counselor, Ms. Martinez, met individually with each middle school student to review their course registration form and enter their elective requests into PowerSchool. This process provides valuable practice for academic counseling conversations, which play a key role in the transition from middle to high school.

Our team will continue working diligently over the next few months to build the 2025-26 school year schedule. A reminder that your child’s schedule will be available the week before the next school year starts.

Save the Date - Spring Map Testing 

Spring MAP testing will begin the week after Spring Break.

BYOD Responsibilities:

A gentle reminder that students need to bring a fully charged computer to school each day. Over the past few weeks, we’ve noticed an increase in students needing to borrow chargers or check out loaner devices in the morning due to dead batteries.

To help ensure a smooth start to the school day, please remind your child to charge their device each night. Thank you for your support!

This week I was able to visit with each 6th and 7th grader to input their course requests for next year. It’s the first step of the master scheduling process in the middle school. As a reminder, schedules will not be available until mid August, just before school begins.
