Dear MS Families, 

Congratulations to our Grade 8 students who we celebrated at their moving up ceremony this week! A special note of recognition to Zain, Axelle, Karis, and Nasser, for their leadership and speeches during the ceremony. Best wishes class of 2029, we will miss you in MS! Grade 8 families will be sending the ceremony recording and photos to you via email. 

Last Day of School Assembly 

Please join us in celebrating our MS students at the end-of-year assembly on Wednesday, June 4 at 10:30 a.m. in the theater. We will quickly acknowledge all students who participated in sports and activities, say goodbye to leavers, and give out MS Student Profile awards. All families are welcome to attend, If your child is receiving a student profile award you will receive a separate email notification. We hope to see you there!

MS Checkout

We are starting the checkout process to ensure all school supplies and materials have been returned to ACS before departing for summer break. Please understand that if your child still has an LC/Classroom book or a school instrument, make sure they return it on Sunday, June 1, to receive their yearbooks.

Report Cards & MAP Scores 

We have closed the parent portal in Powerschool so teachers can start to import report card information.  Your child's report card will be ready for you to view in Powerschool on the last day of school. Instructions for accessing them will be shared soon. Additionally, you will also be able to view your child's second semester MAP score in Powerschool. 

Assessment Calendar 

In preparation for the end of the semester your child’s teachers have created an assessment calendar to ensure students know what’s coming up. Your child’s advisor will review the assessment calendar with your child several times a week to ensure they know what’s coming up. Please understand that this is a living document, and it will continue to be updated and edited as we make our way through the final weeks of the school year.  We also hope this calendar is supportive of you in helping your child manage their time outside of school and meet upcoming deadlines.
