This week, you may have received an email from a middle school teacher informing you that your child might receive a 1 on the upcoming first semester report card. This communication is part of our middle school practice to maintain transparent and proactive collaboration between ACS and families in support of student learning.

In the email, your child’s teacher identified the specific area of focus and shared an action plan to support their growth. While receiving this type of communication can sometimes feel concerning, we want to reassure you that learning is a journey unique to every student. At ACS, we value the importance of students progressing at their own pace and see feedback as a key part of growth.
