Dear MS Families,

Adventure Jordan Prep! Permission Form and Parent Meeting

This week, you received an email with a parent permission form from the MS Office in preparation for Adventure Jordan. We have also linked them below. The form will ask you to fill out important information about your child so we can prepare the best trips possible for them. Grade-level leaders will go through all trip logistics for families at the Adventure Jordan parent night on Wednesday, September 18th, at 5:00 pm. We will also be live-streaming and recording the sessions for families who cannot attend.

The forms are due by September 18th at 3 PM.

Cover Sheets - New Units Updated

This week you can now access:, Arabic, Design Tech, some 6, 7 & 8 Electives.

Please scroll down to access the MS unit cover sheets. The cover sheet is a student-friendly document that gives students and families an idea of the current unit's significant concepts, content, assessments, and pacing.

Yearbook Photos:

Yearbook photos will begin next week! Your child will take their photo with their advisory group. Please find your child’s advisor's name below to know which day they will have their picture taken.

If your child was absent on any of the dates listed below, there will be a makeup day in October. Ms. Aseel will reach out to your child with further details.

Busing
- If your HS child receives ACS busing transportation, they are also eligible for the HS Activities late bus which departs @ 4:45pm. Please see the Athletics and Activities page for more information.
Medical
- Be sure to update your child’s medical information with the Health Office (Nurse Hiyam) and in PowerSchool.

SAISA Art Festival: Interest Opportunity Form

Are you a MS or HS student who plays an instrument and/or sings? Do you need to listen to music daily because it helps your day? Do you want to go on tour like a rock star? If so, SAISA Music may just be the thing for you. SAISA Music is an opportunity for students from all different types of backgrounds and experiences to make new friends, learn new music, and collaborate together to create amazing SONIC ART! Experiencing music in a large group with students your age from several schools around the region is a very different experience than you may have had here at ACS.

SAISA MUSIC festival is not a competition, it is a collaboration of three amazing days with several social activities, rehearsals, and the festival ends with a BIG concert. Get ready to go on tour!
