Dear MS Families,

Adventure Jordan Celebrations!

This afternoon all three grade levels returned from one of the hallmark experiences here at ACS, Adventure Jordan. While likely tired, each student and grade level engaged in learning experiences that fostered connections and learning about themselves, their classmates, as well as Jordan’s culture and environments. Thank you to all of the ACS faculty and staff who make these amazing trips possible. We request your patience as we download and organize all the photos from the Adventure Jordan trips. We know you are eager to see them :) The MS Office will have photos from each grade level trip ready for you next week. We will share the albums with you via email.

Cover Sheets - New Units Updated

This week you can now access: Concert Band and Forensics are now ready to review.

Please scroll down to access the MS unit cover sheets. The cover sheet is a student-friendly document that gives students and families an idea of the current unit's significant concepts, content, assessments, and pacing.

Parent Teacher Conferences

We invite you to participate in the Fall 2024 Parent Teacher Conferences. There are no classes for students on these dates.

Please understand that the PowerSchool sign-up process applies only to Elementary homeroom, Learning Support, and Counselor conferences.

For any questions, please contact Ms. Aseel

In Middle School, we encourage your child to join you at conferences as this is a great opportunity to assist them in taking responsibility for their own learning. Please remember there are no classes, sports, or after-school activities on this day.
Ms. Heba - Art Teacher will be available from 8am - 1pm. With break times: 10:00 - 10:20 am and 12:00 - 12:20 pm.
Ms. Shez (Sheriyln Billett) will be in the Gym with HS.

POSTPONED: Next week (October 6) students will begin writing book reviews within the Destiny library catalog.

Encourage your student to participate and receive a prize for every review that gets published. Instructions will be given to students over the next two weeks!

Quick reminders:

- Athletics and Activities website- This is our central hub for athletics and activities information
Busing
- If your HS child receives ACS busing transportation, they are also eligible for the HS Activities late bus which departs @ 4:45pm. Please see the Athletics and Activities page for more information.
Medical
- Be sure to update your child’s medical information with the Health Office (Nurse Hiyam) and in PowerSchool.
