A few important reminders to start the school year:

Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, students can be dropped off no earlier than 7:40 am at the two school entrances - the theater and the main gate. Classes run from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm and parents can meet their children after school in the pergola area. On Tuesdays arrival time for students is no earlier than 8:40 am to accommodate professional learning for employees on “late start Tuesdays.” 

Parent Parking

Should you need to park your vehicle to enter ACS, please use the shaded parking lot (entry code 2014#) or parallel park on the streets surrounding the school. There is also some parking available in a small dirt lot across the street from the pool entrance. Look out for the ACS entry and exit signs. 

ID Badges

For safety and security, we ask that all adults wear their ACS ID badges visibly whenever on campus. This is especially important when entering the school.  Should you need a replacement or have any questions about ID badges, please contact Manal at mhaddad@acsammen.edu.jo.

Bus Service

Bus service information was circulated by email last week. Should you require any further assistance, please contact Manal at bus@acsammen.edu.jo.

Introducing the Scorpion Parent Cafe!

ACS is pleased to announce the opening of the Scorpion Parent Cafe located right behind the Blue Fig kiosk in the gym. 

A few important items to note:

1. The parent cafe is open from 7:40 am - 4:30 pm Sun - Thurs.

2. While custodial service will be provided at the end of each day and trash cans are placed in the space, a clean and orderly parent cafe is the responsibility of those using it.  

3. Children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. A small early childhood play area with resources is available within the cafe. Children may not run within or outside the gym, unsupervised or not.

4. Bathrooms for the cafe are located in the main gym foyer across from the Blue Fig kiosk.

5. No one except school personnel should access the hallway beyond the Parent Cafe. 

6. Blue Fig will make their full cafe menu available to parents. Please place your order at the kiosk or with one of the Blue Fig employees. You can pay with cash or a Zain Cash card/bracelet and your food/drink will be delivered to the cafe.
