Parents have been asking about the status of the dirt parking lot near the pool entrance. ACS does not own this land and was renting parking from the land owner. Unfortunately, this arrangement has been curtailed as the owner and municipality settle their differences. Instead, at least temporarily, ACS is now renting the lot behind the school (near the bus parking lot). Given its small size, this lot is generally filled by faculty in the morning. Parents are best served parking under the covered parking near the main entrance (2014# to enter the gate) or on the street. ACS will work to make the back lot available for parent parking during special events and on the weekend.
Please mark your calendars for the upcoming Student Parent Teacher Conferences on February 27th. You will find details about schedules and formats in the school wide announcements below.
Finally, we have received one of two water studies back from the authorities. Depending upon the water fountain on campus, results ranged from 0.02 - 0.06 Bq/L for Radium-228 and Radium-226. The World Health Organization has a threshold of 1.0 Bq/L and the U.S. EPA standards have a combined threshold of 0.185 Bq/L. Against both metrics, ACS’s water falls below the threshold and, so, we will turn the drinking fountains back on from Sunday. Parents who prefer their children drink bottled water are advised to send it with their children from home.

We invite you to participate in the 2025 Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences on February 27. There are no classes for students on this date.
** Please understand that the PowerSchool sign-up process applies only to Elementary homeroom, Learning Support, and Counselor conferences. To learn more about your relevant section, please click here.
Career Day at ACS
We’re excited to announce the return of Career Day at ACS! This springtime, the beloved tradition is making a comeback, offering students the opportunity to explore professions that inspire them.
We’re seeking professionals from all fields. Whether you're a doctor, chef, architect, digital artist, diplomat, engineer, or any other expert, we'd love you to come share your experiences and insights.
In the coming weeks, we’ll send out an interest and participation form. We encourage you to volunteer and share this opportunity with others who might be interested.

The Grade 5-12 students warmly invite you to this year’s highly anticipated school musical, Matilda! Join us for an enchanting evening (or afternoon!) of laughter, music, and the inspiring story of a courageous young girl.

Available at Reception, the Elementary School, Middle School, and High School admin assistants, as well as at the door.
All proceeds will be donated to The Collateral Repair Project (CRP), supporting vital community programs.

ACS Parent-Student Access (Campus facilities)
The following campus access procedure is for when school is in session only. Hours and availability during school vacations/holidays will be publicized in the WGO.
Our facilities are always bustling and we wanted to update you on family access for the 24-25 school year. ACS facilities (field, playground, pool, and upper gym) during non-student times will be available for ACS badge holders only (No outside guests unless attending an ACS event )
The main gym is off-limits
Please note that the field and upper gym times will change weekly.
