This week marks the midpoint of Ramadan, with two weeks to go before our Spring Break and Eid holiday. We are excited to celebrate Iftar as a community, at the Elementary level today and in Secondary next Thursday. Many thanks to the PTG and Jordan Commercial Bank for their support of the events.
As promised, we’ve been keeping an eye on bus drive-time data to better understand how our Ramadan hours are affecting transportation. Before Ramadan, the average drive time for our 20 bus routes was just over 31 minutes. During the first week of Ramadan, that average increased to about 38 minutes—roughly a 7-minute difference. The first two days of Ramadan had the longest delays, averaging about 10 extra minutes, with a similar spike this past Sunday. We’ll continue tracking this data and will share our findings after Spring Break. Thanks for your patience and support!

Ramadan Rice Drive
The Compassion Club is promoting a Rice Drive for Ramadan. All donations will be given to the Jordanian Food Bank. Please bring bags of rice to any of the High School classrooms OR you can place them at the Donation Table by the bus atrium. All kinds of rice are accepted (short grain, long grain, brown, etc.).

ACS Parent-Student Access (Campus facilities)
The following campus access procedure is for when school is in session only. Hours and availability during school vacations/holidays will be publicized in the WGO.
Our facilities are always bustling and we wanted to update you on family access for the 24-25 school year. ACS facilities (field, playground, pool, and upper gym) during non-student times will be available for ACS badge holders only (No outside guests unless attending an ACS event )
The main gym is off-limits
Please note that the field and upper gym times will change weekly.

Upper Gym- Closed 9-12 otherwise open until 6pm
Pool Access (family swim)
Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 for both staff and community.
Saturdays 9:30 to 11:00 AM and 11:30 to 1:00 PM
Saturday's Swim needs a sign-up to reserve spots.
