If you have any concerns about the buses, please feel free to reach out directly to our bus liaison at bus@acsamman.edu.jo or mhourani@acsamman.edu.jo. We will also send out a survey to gather your feedback soon, which will help us continue improving the service.
At ACS, we believe that sustainability is more than just an initiative; it’s a reflection of our mission to nurture compassionate citizens who demonstrate respect and act with integrity.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have implemented a range of practices designed to reduce our environmental impact and foster responsible stewardship of resources.
Recycling and Waste Reduction:
We have a robust recycling program, with our on-campus Recycling Center supported and run by BE Initiatives.
Styrofoam and plastic water bottles are banned on campus.
Sustainable Events: All events follow a strict no single-use item policy, with reusable or compostable materials encouraged.
Eco-Friendly Printing: Printing is double-sided by default, and digital alternatives are prioritized to reduce paper waste.
Sustainable Sales: On-campus sales use sustainable methods, including reusable packaging and eco-friendly products.
Practices: We promote energy and water conservation on campus through efficient appliances and mindful use.
Join us in making mindful choices for a sustainable future!
