Welcome to the start of the second semester! We hope you all had a restful winter break and a wonderful New Year. It is a joy to see our hallways filled with energy again as we kick off the second half of the school year.

A very warm welcome to the new families joining us this January! We are thrilled to have you as part of the ACS community and look forward to getting to know you as you settle into your new school home.

As we settle back into our school routines, please take a moment to review these core pillars of our community:

• The Community Pledge: As a reminder to both new and returning families, our Community Pledge is our commitment to mutual respect, inclusion, and support. Let’s continue to lead by example and keep ACS a welcoming space for all.

• The ES Promises: We continue to encourage our Elementary School students to live by our promises: to be safe, to be kind, and to be responsible. Using this same language at home can support us in creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

• Attendance: Reminder that this year we are closely monitoring both absences and tardies to ensure students stay on track. If attendance begins to affect learning, we will reach out to partner with you on a support plan. Thank you for helping your child arrive on time, every day, to build the routine and confidence they need to thrive.

The second semester is always a busy and rewarding time, filled with growth and exciting milestones. We are honored to partner with you in your child's education.
