Your willingness to partner with us and share your insights is incredibly valuable as we continue to refine our Middle School practices. As we approach the beginning of the Ramadan, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all our families and community members who will be observing this month. In our time here in Amman, we have already come to appreciate the beautiful spirit of reflection, generosity, and togetherness that defines this season. On behalf of the entire Middle School team, we wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, blessed, and meaningful month.

MS Celebrations

Engineering students have been working the past 2 weeks on creating a glider that flies more than 5 meters. They spent time learning about flight science and created gliders out of household materials. These engineers followed the engineering design cycle by making a prototype, testing it, and adding modifications to the design to improve it. The farthest flying glider went 10 meters!

RAMADAN SCHEDULE

Our Ramadan schedule will begin on Tuesday, February 17. As we transition to these adjusted hours, we appreciate your support in fostering an inclusive and considerate environment for our entire community.

To all our families observing the holy month, we wish you a Ramadan Mubarak!

ATTENDANCE

We are asking all MS families to input absences directly in PowerSchool - PowerSchool parent portal.

This video shows you how to report a student's absence.

Looking Ahead: Session III

We are excited to launch our third and final AEP session of the school year. Please mark your calendars for the following key dates:

Tuesday, Feb 10: PowerSchool opens for student and parent registrations.

Tuesday, Feb 17: Registration closes on PowerSchool.

Thursday, Feb 26: Confirmation emails sent to parents and students.

Sunday, March 8: Session III officially begins!

Common Sense Carpool Conversations - A podcast series that invites adults and kids to talk about the issues that matter most in kids' digital lives.

You don't have to be a tech expert to give your kid life lessons about digital well-being. The purpose of the podcast is to start discussions in fun, authentic ways and to encourage sharing (including for the adults).

The questions might lead to deeper discussions—or not! Either way, the goal is to nurture empathy, lead with curiosity, and have ongoing conversations that acknowledge we're all in this together.
