Mr. Billy Thomas
We are officially celebrating the conclusion of a highly successful Season One of Athletics and Activities! A heartfelt thank you to all the coaches, advisors, parents, and, most importantly, the students for their commitment and enthusiasm over the past few months. We saw incredible growth, wonderful teamwork, and dedication across all programs. Now, it's time to shift gears and get ready for the next adventure! We strongly encourage all students to browse the offerings and sign up for Season Two Athletics and Activities. Whether you are looking to try a new sport, join an academic club, or pursue a creative endeavor, these programs are essential for building skills, forming friendships, and enriching your Middle School experience. Don’t miss out on the registration!
As we approach the American Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment for personal reflection and express my profound gratitude for our entire community. In the spirit of this season, I am truly thankful for the dedication of our staff, the tireless support of our parents, and the energy and potential of every single student who walks through our doors. It is a privilege to lead a school where students show such curiosity, resilience, and kindness towards one another. Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping us create an environment where every child can thrive. Wishing all of our families a joyful, restful, and safe Thanksgiving filled with warmth and appreciation.
This week we celebrate a recent, highly successful interdisciplinary project where our Grade 7 students explored the rise and fall of the Roman Empire using the powerful allegorical paintings of Thomas Cole: "The Course of Empire."
This lesson moved beyond traditional textbook analysis, offering a dynamic, visual, and highly analytical approach to deepen their understanding of history and Social Studies. By examining Cole's five-part series, students didn't just read about Rome's history; they interpreted its life cycle through the lens of art.
