Mr. Billy Thomas
What a fast, productive, and successful start to the school year we've had in the Middle School! As we close out the first quarter, I want to recognize the incredible efforts and resilience of our students. They’ve enthusiastically tackled new subjects, adapted quickly to routines, and shown great growth in their collaboration skills both in and out of the classroom. The hallways have been energized by their curiosity, and the commitment of our teachers and staff to fostering a supportive learning environment has truly been outstanding. We have so much to celebrate in terms of academic progress and community spirit.
Now, as the weather begins to change, it's time for a necessary pause and recharge. We sincerely wish every one of our students, families, and staff a happy, safe, and truly restful October holiday break. Please take this time to disconnect from screens, spend quality time together, and simply enjoy the change of pace. We look forward to returning refreshed and ready to build on this wonderful momentum as we dive into the second quarter. Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and dedication to our middle school community.
Adventure Jordan 2025 has officially come to an end, and what an incredible week it was! We hope your home has been filled with stories of the places your children explored, the challenges they embraced, and the memories they made with their classmates.
A huge thank-you goes out to our Trip Leaders Luke Spencer (Grade 6), Molly VanCleave (Grade 7), and Dylan Gilbert (Grade 8) for the care, energy, and organization they put into creating such meaningful experiences for both students and staff.
Families can click the links below to see photos from their child’s trip. As always, we ask that these photos remain within our school community to help us respect the privacy of all families.

SAISA Girls Volleyball is Coming to ACS!
We are proud to announce that ACS Amman will host the SAISA Girls Volleyball Tournament from October 30 – November 1, 2025. This is a very special moment for our school community as we welcome student-athletes and coaches from across the SAISA region right here on our campus.
Hosting SAISA gives our girls’ team the home-court advantage and the chance to play in front of their friends, family, and teachers.
It’s also an opportunity for our entire community to show what Scorpion Pride is all about—hospitality, spirit, and sportsmanship.
Come Cheer: Pack the stands, wear your ACS gear, and bring the energy to every game.
Volunteer: Opportunities are available to help and support visiting teams - click here to access the volunteer opportunities.
Spread the Word: Encourage family and friends to attend and make it a weekend of celebration.
Tournament schedule is here.
Look out for updates on how you can help us create a warm and spirited ACS welcome for all visiting teams.
Let’s fill the gym with energy and make this a weekend to remember.
Go Scorpions!
