Mr. Billy Thomas
We are so excited for our upcoming Adventure Jordan overnight trip! Next week, our middle school students will embark on an incredible journey, exploring the ancient city of Petra, enjoying the nature of Ajloun, and stargazing in the magnificent Wadi Rum. These trips are designed to be more than just a tour; it's a chance for our students to build a stronger community, foster independence, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We are confident they will represent our school with curiosity and respect. For more details, be sure to check out our Adventure Jordan Website.
As we prepare for this memorable adventure, we are also looking ahead to our upcoming parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday, October 16th. This is a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their strengths, and address any areas where they might need more support. Our teachers are excited to meet with you and continue working together to help your child succeed.
Please remember that there is no need to sign up for a conference time. We operate on a drop-in basis, and teachers will be available to meet with you from 8-6pm and will be in the Sting Zone. We look forward to seeing you there and continuing to partner with you in your child's educational journey.
Grade 7 students visited the Amman Citadel to explore ruins from Ancient Rome, a topic they are currently studying in Social Studies. The Citadel and the nearby Roman Theatre are two of Amman’s most significant historical landmarks, vividly demonstrating how Rome extended its influence into the Middle East through architecture, government, and culture.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
Our Parent Teacher Conferences
Thursday, Oct 16
8:00am - 6:00pm
ACS "Stingzone" (previously called "The Greenroom" in the Pool Building)
These conferences are a great time for you to hear about the wonderful work your child has been doing.
Our conferences are designed to be flexible and welcoming — families can simply drop in at a time that works best for them, without the need to book in advance. This open format often creates a lively, community feel as families connect with one another while waiting.
Please plan to allow plenty of time, as there may be lines to see teachers — to make the wait more enjoyable, Blue Fig will be open, and we’ll have snacks available on the day.
We would like families to be aware that most teachers support up to 75 children. In order to see every family, conferences can only a 10 minute conversation. Should you require a longer, more in-depth conversation, you are welcome to request the teacher to schedule more time on another day.
All after-school practices and Exploration Program activities will be cancelled on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 due to Adventure Jordan.
Regular practice schedules will resume on Saturday, October 11.
Thank you for your flexibility, and best of luck to our MS students and chaperones heading out on this year’s Adventure Jordan trip!
