Mr. Billy Thomas
We are so proud to share that our middle school students performed exceptionally well on the recent MAP tests. Their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to doing their best truly shone through, and we could not be more impressed with the progress they have made. Please join us in celebrating their accomplishments—it is a reflection not only of their efforts, but also of the support and encouragement you provide at home.
We would also like to thank those of you who joined us for our very first parenting class. The session was a great success, and we are excited about the thoughtful conversations it sparked. If you were not able to join this time, we encourage you to look out for future opportunities- parenting an adolescent is hard work and we are here to support you in it.
Finally, please mark your calendars for our important Adventure Jordan overnight field trip meeting on September 29th. This meeting will provide families with all the key information needed for this exciting experience. We can’t wait to share the details of this opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and create lasting memories outside the classroom and in the beautiful country we all call home.
This week, Middle School students completed their final Fall MAP test. We are so proud of the focus and effort they put into showing what they know and can do. Early results show a dedication to hard work, high achievement, and that our Scorpions are doing excellent!
As a school, we will look carefully at the results from this test, along with other information teachers gather in class, to better understand each child’s unique strengths and areas where they can grow. This helps teachers personalize learning so that every student is supported and challenged on their individual journey—no matter where they are starting from.

NO SALES ON CAMPUS
It has come to our attention that MS children are selling products on campus (eg. Toys, candy, trading crds) for personal gain. While we can appreciate their entrepreneurial savvy, this is NOT a practice that is allowed at ACS.
Should your child wish to organize a fundraiser for chairty, they can always speak with Ms. Mac to help organise a sanctioned event.
We will be clarifying for children about NOT SELLING ITEMS on campus, and starting next week if they are found selling products their "stock" will be confiscated and a parent will have to collect the items from the MS Office.
MS Activities and Athletics have fully begun. For questions and concerns, please contact the Activities and Athletics office.
