Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 School Year! We hope your children had a great first few days of school! As this is our first WGO of the school year, it is a bit more lengthy than usual. Please be sure to read the schoolwide content as well as visit your child(ren)’s section to learn more about updated procedures.
Please keep in mind that students can be dropped off at campus to either entrance (main or poolside) no earlier than 7:40 am on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and 8:40 am on Tuesdays. School ends at 3:00 pm and parents collecting younger children can meet them at the pergola area at that time. We appreciate your support with on-time drop off and pick up!
If your child is a bus rider, please be sure to read the information about our updated ACS application as our technology team has made many of the enhancements parents were hoping for - including caregiver access options!

Parent Parking
Should you need to park your vehicle to enter ACS, please use the shaded parking lot, parallel park on the streets surrounding the school or use the paved parking lot adjacent to Almond Coffee House. The code to enter these lots is 2014#, though we will update this code in the coming weeks. Look out for that update in a future WGO!

Technology and Communications
ID Badges
For safety and security, we ask that all adults wear their ACS ID badges visibly whenever on campus. This is especially important when entering the school. Parents are required to register their drivers and nannies should they wish for them to enter campus. Special ID badges will be prepared for them upon registration. Should you need a replacement or have any questions about ID badges, please contact Manal at bus@acsammen.edu.jo.

The ACS Activities InfoBoard here gives you a full overview of what’s planned for After School Activities, Sports and the Arts across all grade levels.
You can also visit the Activities page on the ACS website, which will always have the most up-to-date details as things evolve.
Campus Facilities Access
Our facilities are always bustling and we wanted to update you on family access for the 25-26 school year. ACS facilities (field, playground, pool, and upper gym) during non-student times will be available for ACS badge holders only (No outside guests)
ACS facilities close at 8pm.
Please note that the field and upper gym times will change weekly.
Weekend of August 15th and 16th
Field, playground, uppergym: 5am-8pm
(August 15th) Field and Playground: 5am-1pm (closed from 1pm onward)
(August 16th) Field and Playground: 5am - 8pm
Friday (August 15th) Upper gym: Open court with hoops 5am-8pm
Saturday (August 16th) Upper gym: Tennis nets will be set up on Saturday (August 15th) from 8-11am (first come first serve) 11am-8pm open court for shooting
No food or drink allowed in any of these area.
Be respectful of the space and clean up after yourself.
Pool Access (family swim)
Saturdays: 9:00-10:30 am and 12:00-1:30 pm. Sign-up (To maintain a proper lifeguard-to-bather ratio)
Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 PM to 4:30 PM
Thursdays: 4:45-5:45 pm
This schedule will be valid until September 15, as our ASA program will affect our current timetable. We’ll keep you updated!
Please note that unplanned closures may happen due to lifeguard availability, long weekends, national holidays, and weather conditions. For any questions or concerns, please contact Coach Emad at ealwazani@acsamman.edu.jo.
U.S. Passport Renewal Services at ACS
In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, representatives from the Consular Section will be on campus on Friday, August 22, during the PTG Back to School Picnic to provide limited passport renewal services.
