REMINDER: Re-Enrollment Process and Deadlines for 2026–2027

Re-enrollment emails have been sent to all parents earlier this week. Please read the information below to make sure your child keeps a seat for the 2026–2027 school year. 

If you have not received a re-enrollment email, please contact admissions@acsamman.edu.jo. 

Re-Enrollment Form Required for Withdrawing & Returning Students

Please complete the form to indicate whether you are withdrawing or returning. Parents who did not complete the re-enrollment form will continue to receive reminders until the form submission deadline. Invoices will only be sent to families who have completed the re-enrollment form. 

Important: It is essential for withdrawing students to also complete the form so that we can prepare for the student's departure and ensure a smooth transition from ACS. 

Form Submission Deadline: Saturday, January 10, 2026

If the form is not submitted by the deadline, we will assume your child is not returning, and you will not receive an invoice. If you need to change your response after the deadline, email the Admissions Office at admissions@acsamman.edu.jo. 

Payment Deadline to Secure a Seat: January 26, 2026

Payment must be received by this date. After the deadline, we will release the seat and offer it to new students. If you decide to re-enroll later, it will depend on space available, and a seat cannot be guaranteed.

If You Are Not Yet Sure About Returning

We encourage you to complete the form and pay the registration fee. If your plans change and you leave Jordan, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee if you inform the Business Office by July 26, 2026.

Network Access Update: ChatGPT

Dear ACS Families,

When we return from break, we will be restricting access to ChatGPT on our school network due to OpenAI's recent announcement that the platform will allow adult-oriented content for verified users beginning in December 2025.

While age verification systems exist, they can be easily bypassed. Restricting network access is the most effective way to protect our students.

Recommended Alternative: Google Gemini is available for 13+ users through school Google accounts and offers comparable capabilities with appropriate safety features for educational use.

Campus Facilities Access

ACS facilities (field, playground, pool, and upper gym) are open during non-student times for ACS badge holders only (no outside guests).

• Facilities close at 8:00 pm.

• Field and upper gym times will rotate weekly.

• No food or drink allowed. Please respect the space and clean up after use.

Pool Access (Family Swim) Updated Community Swimming Hours

We are excited to share the updated pool hours for the ACS community. These new timings include expanded morning swim opportunities where both parents and students may swim together.

Please note:

• Students must be accompanied by a parent.

• All participants must pre-register using the community swim sign-up sheet.

• Parents and students must sign a liability form, available at the aquatics office or with the lifeguards.
