A very busy week for ACS! Things kicked off with AAC games, the SAT test and hosting a Cognitive Coaching training for over 60 educators. The week continued with 22 of those visitors remaining on campus an additional day to engage in job-a-like meetings and observe the fine work done by ACS professionals. The week ended with the annual Sugar Dash and wishing our middle school theater students safe travels as they headed to Italy for their ISTA conference. ACS is a busy place filled with laughter, smiles and community!
A reminder that Thursday, November 27th, will be a holiday to mark our November long weekend and U.S. Thanksgiving. Classes will be suspended and limited services will be available on campus. Please consult the WGO on Wednesday, November 26th, for campus access hours and information.

Tedx - The Essence of a Changing World - November 19
The American Community School of Amman is proud to host its seventh TEDx Youth event, returning for the first time since 2022. This year’s theme, “The Essence of a Changing World,” invites our student speakers to explore the changes shaping our world and how these shifts impact lives, perspectives, and the future. Through their unique stories, insights, and ideas, they will inspire audiences to reflect on the changes around us and consider new possibilities for the future.

ACS Amman Open House – November 25
We’re excited to announce that ACS Amman will be hosting its first-ever Open House on Monday, November 25, from 9:00–11:30 AM!
Invite your friends and families who may be interested in joining our community to come and see what makes ACS such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.
Please share the invitation and registration form with anyone who’d like to attend!

After-School Exploration Program – Session II Timeline
Our current AEP Session I will conclude on Thursday, November 20. We hope your children have enjoyed exploring new interests and developing their skills this season.
We are now preparing for AEP Session II, which will follow this timeline:
November 24–27: Schedule shared and Student registration opens
December 4: Final placements shared
Week of December 7, 2025: Session II begins
February 12, 2026: Session II ends
As always, the exploration program is designed to offer a variety of experiences that promote creativity, teamwork, and fun.
You’ll receive detailed sign-up information later this month once programs are finalized.

Campus Facilities Access
ACS facilities (field, playground, pool, and upper gym) are open during non-student times for ACS badge holders only (no outside guests).
Facilities close at 8:00 pm.
Field and upper gym times will rotate weekly.
No food or drink allowed. Please respect the space and clean up after use.
Pool Access (Family Swim)
Saturdays: 9:00–11:00 am and 12:00–2:00 pm (Sign-up)
Mondays 4:45–5:30 pm
Thursdays: 4:45–5:45 pm
